- The products or areas you tell us you are interested in, and any notes you add
If you use our Ask Cloudcase assistant, we also process the questions you type into it. See the Ask Cloudcase AI assistant section below.

Ask Cloudcase AI assistant
Our site offers Ask Cloudcase, an AI assistant that answers questions using content from across our website. When you send a question, here is what happens to it:
- Your question is sent to our AI provider. We use the Lovable AI Gateway, which passes your question to OpenAI (to find relevant content) and Google Gemini (to write the answer). Please do not enter sensitive personal information into the assistant.
- Your chat history stays in your browser. The conversation is stored locally on your device, not on our servers. Clearing it in the assistant, or clearing your browser storage, removes it.
- We keep a limited request log for security. To prevent abuse and apply rate limits, we log a one-way hashed (anonymised) version of your IP address, your browser's user agent, and the length of your question. We do not store the text of your questions.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site. How we ask for your agreement depends on where you are visiting from.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, analytics cookies stay switched off until you accept them. On your first visit a consent banner lets you accept or decline, and we remember your choice.
Everywhere else, including Australia, analytics are on by default and you can switch them off at any time using the link below. We never use analytics cookies for advertising or personalisation, in any region.
You can change your choice at any time, and we remember it on your device.
What we store on your device
| Name | Purpose | Set when |
|---|---|---|
Google Analytics cookies (for example _ga) | Measure site usage and traffic | In the EEA/UK, only after you accept analytics. Elsewhere, on arrival unless you switch analytics off |
cc_cookie_consent_v1 | Remember your cookie choice | When you accept, decline, or save preferences |
cc_ask_us_conversation_v1 | Keep your Ask Cloudcase chat history on your device | When you use the assistant |
cc_preview | Preview unpublished pages during a preview session | Only via a preview link |
You can also instruct your browser to refuse or delete cookies at any time.
How we use your data
- Responding to you: To answer enquiries and demo requests you send us
- Ask Cloudcase: To run the AI assistant and answer your questions
- Communication: To contact you about your enquiry, updates, and support
- Marketing: To send you materials you have consented to receive
- Site analytics: To understand how the site is used and improve it (subject to your cookie choice)
- Security: To prevent abuse, apply rate limits, and keep the service safe
- Legal compliance: To comply with applicable laws and regulations
Service providers we share data with
We rely on a small number of trusted providers to run this website. Each processes personal data on our behalf and under its own privacy terms:
- Lovable: Hosts our website and operates the AI gateway behind Ask Cloudcase
- Supabase: Provides our backend and database, including the security log for Ask Cloudcase
- HubSpot: Receives and manages the details you submit through our contact and demo forms
- Google: Provides Google Analytics (subject to your cookie choice) and Google Fonts
- OpenAI and Google (Gemini): Process Ask Cloudcase questions to generate answers, via the Lovable AI gateway
- Spline and Vimeo: Serve embedded interactive graphics and video, which receive your IP address and request details when that content loads
We may also disclose information where required by law, or to protect our rights, and we do not sell your personal data.
Data retention
We keep personal data only for as long as we need it. Enquiry and demo details are retained in our CRM for as long as needed to respond to you and manage our relationship. The Ask Cloudcase security log (which holds only an anonymised, hashed IP and browser details) is kept short-term for rate limiting and abuse prevention. Analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics settings.
Hosting and infrastructure
This website is built and hosted on Lovable, and its backend and database run on Supabase. As a result, your data may be stored and processed on servers located in the United States and other countries.
International data transfers
Because several of our providers (including Lovable, Supabase, HubSpot, Google, and OpenAI) operate internationally, your information may be transferred to and stored on servers outside your country of residence, including in the United States. We take appropriate steps to ensure it remains protected in line with this policy and applicable law.
Data security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including hashing IP addresses before they are logged. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
