The challenge
Three channels, three sets of friction
Member expectations for digital mortgage experiences were rising, and Bankfirst needed a platform that could serve direct online, in-branch, and broker channels without creating operational silos between them. Policy and workflow had to stay consistent across all three.
Underneath it all, Ultradata core banking had to be wired in seamlessly and auditably. Disconnected systems were already producing re-keying, errors, and longer turnaround times.
The approach
Three portals on one configuration, deep into Ultradata
Bankfirst migrated mortgage origination to Cloudcase and deployed three channel experiences from a single configuration: a customer portal for self-service, save and resume, document upload, and secure messaging; a staff portal for assisted applications and operational processing; and a broker portal for pipeline visibility and real-time assessment feedback.
Cloudcase's integration layer provides bi-directional connectivity to Ultradata, supporting real-time lookup, pre-population, and clean handoffs at settlement and post-settlement. One policy and workflow runs across all three channels.
“Cloudcase gave us a unified view of applications across channels while keeping the experience consistent for members and brokers.”
The outcome
True omni-channel origination from a single configuration
Bankfirst now delivers consistent lending experiences across direct online, branch, and broker, with one staff view of every in-flight application regardless of where it originated. Consistent calculations and workflow enforcement removed the rework that the old channel-by-channel model produced.
Selection rationale held up in production: one configuration across customer, staff, and broker channels, deep core integration expertise, and configuration-driven flexibility without vendor queues.
